All data in the freely accessible area are part of the DWD's open data and are protected by copyright.
Re-use of data is granted without any restrictions provided that the source reference is indicated, as laid down in the GeoNutzV ordinance ("Verordnung zur Festlegung der Nutzungsbestimmungen für die Bereitstellung von Geodaten des Bundes = Ordinance to Determine the Conditions for Use for the Provision of Spatial Data of the Federation). 

Here, selected parameters from the regional reanalysis COSMO-REA6 are provided.

The COSMO-REA6 regional reanalyis was produced for 1995-2014 at University of Bonn, Hans-Ertel-Centre for Weather Research (HErZ), see https://www.herz.uni-bonn.de/wordpress/. It was extended from 2015 onwards by DWD.

The University of Bonn agreed to provide the data under the same licence, i.e. according to the GeoNutzV. (see also: https://reanalysis.meteo.uni-bonn.de/userfiles/documents/ToU_translation.pdf). The full data set is thereby provided with consistent licencing conditions and can be used without any restrictions provided that the source reference is indicated.

The extraction of the selected parameters was done by DWD. The general terms of use of the Climate Data Center of DWD apply: https://opendata.dwd.de/climate_environment/CDC/Terms_of_use.pdf
