general synoptic situation:

A high 1021 over the Black Sea, with a ridge extending towards 

the Baltic states, moves eastward. A low 999 Scotland moves 

towards the northern part of the North Sea and weakens. A trough 

swings from the Netherlands to the southern Baltic Sea. By 

Wednesday evening, a new low 983 will move from the Atlantic to 

the sea area north of Ireland. At the same time, a ridge of the 

Azores High 1033 extends towards the Alps.

wind: southerly winds about 4, later variable directions 2 to 4.

visibility/weather: at times shower and thunderstorms with partly

very poor visibility.

sea: western part at times 1,5 meter.

Southwestern North Sea:
