A high 1021 over the Balkans hardly changes. A low 

pressure complex 991 over the Norwegian Sea moves 

northeastwards. Troughs initially swing across the North 

Sea and Baltic Sea. A ridge of the Azores High 1034 swings 

from the western North Sea to the Baltic States. A low 982 

south of Iceland moves to the Faroe Islands while 

deepening severely.
