general synoptic situation:

A high 1000 southern Norway to Lapland intensifies at its eastern

portion and extends to northwestern Russia. A low 973 Lower Rhine

weakens as it moves to eastern Germany until the evening and off 

to the Baltic States thereafter. Another low 976 Humber moves as 

of the afternoon to southeast and fills. A third low 978 close 

west of Ireland moves to northern France and weakens.

wind: east to northeast about 6, in the southern part locally 

light and variable winds.

visibility/weather: at times coastal fog patches, rain or snow 

with very poor visibility.

sea: northern part 3 to 4 meter, at the coast sea ice.

Southwestern North Sea:

wind: variable directions 3 to 5, later northwest to north about 

5.

visibility/weather: rain or drizzle with poor visibility, fog 

patches.

sea: humber increasing to 3 meter.
