A high 1031 northern Poland moves toward western Ukraine while 

weakening. A ridge shifts from Lapland toward the Barents Sea. A 

low 1002 Iceland moves eastward toward the Norwegian Sea. A 

trough swings from the British Isles toward the North Sea. An 

Azores high 1024 intensifies. A ridge shifts from southern 

Greenland toward the Irminger Sea, another will build toward the 

British Isles starting Friday.
