near the Lofoten Islands changes hardly. A ridge points to 

Scotland and northern England. It weakens. A low pressure 

system 1008 southwest of Ireland deepens slightly and 

moves slowly northwards. A low 1010 moves from western 

France to the Irish Sea and deepens slightly.
