weakening. A ridge shifts from Lapland toward the Barents Sea. A 

low 1004 Iceland moves eastward toward the northern part of the 

Norwegian Sea. A trough swings from the British Isles toward the 

North Sea. A ridge of the Azores high 1026 shifts from southern 

Greenland towards the Irminger Sea. Another ridge broadens from 

the Bay of Biscay towards the British Isles.
