An extensive high 1034 over Russia hardly changes. A 

complex low 986 near Iceland weakens. Its troughs are 

affecting the English Channel and the North Sea. A ridge 

of the Azores high 1026 extends to the Alps. A low 990 at 

51 North 37 West moves to the sea area northwest of 

Ireland while deepening into a deep low.
