general synoptic situation:

A high pressure zone 1025 extending from the central 

Mediterranean across the Balkan Peninsula to Ukraine, moves 

southeastwards, while weakening. A deep low 969 over the Kola 

Peninsula moves to the Barents Sea while deepening further. 

Another low 986 far west of the Bay of Biscay moves 

southeastwards, while weakening. A high 1030 over the Irminger 

Sea extends a ridge to the southern Baltic Sea.

visibility/weather: southern part rain with poor visibility.

Southwestern North Sea:
