general synoptic situation:

A low 995 western Russia moves to east. A high southern Norway 

intensifies and moves to the Baltic States. Meanwhile, a ridge of

the Azores high extends across the North Sea to southern Norway 

and moves to east afterwards. A stationary low 1007 west of 

Svinoy fills. The eastwards traveling frontal system of a North 

Atlantic low arrives at the western portions of the North Sea on 

Sunday.

wind: northeast about 4, for a time light and variable winds, 

later shifting south to southwest.

visibility/weather: northwestern part snow showers with poor 

visibility.

Southwestern North Sea:
