general synoptic situation:

A high 1018 Romania with ridge to Moscow area moves eastwards. A 

low 991 northern Sweden moves to the North Cape while deepening 

slightly. Its cold front swings across the Baltic Sea eastwards. 

A ridge of the Azores high extends to the Shetlands, moves 

eastwards and weakens. Until late Thursday a low 975 Irminger Sea

moves to the Faroer and its front travels across the North Sea to

the western portions of the Baltic Sea.

visibility/weather: locally thunderstorms with moderate 

visibility.
