general synoptic situation:

A trough of low pressure extends from Finland 1007 via 

southern Sweden 1006 to Poland 1007. The northern part 

moves to Estonia, the central part lies over Jutland 1003 

on Sunday morning, the southern part weakens. A ridge of 

high pressure extends from a high 1030 Iceland to the 

Netherlands and swings towards England while weakening. A 

low 995 over the Celtic Sea weakens and moves towards the 

French Atlantic coast.
