general synoptic situation:

A low 990 Lake Ladoga moves to the White Sea while weakening. 

Another low 998 over central Sweden hardly changes. A low 1000 

west of Scotland moves to the southwestern North Sea while 

filling up. A secondary low 997 over northern Denmark moves 

across southern Sweden and will reach the Gulf of Finland on 

Thursday evening as a low on its own.
