general synoptic situation:

An extensive high 1041 western Russia sligtly moves eastward. A 

ridge initially extends to southern Norway weakens. The trough of

a low 984 Irminger Sea extends towards the British Isles, and a 

secondary low 995 Ireland moves to the Froties while deepening 

slightly, fronts will reach the southern Baltic Sea on Thursday 

morning. The ridge of a high 1030 Azores will extend towards the 

Alps until Thursday morning.
