general synoptic situation:

A low 1002 Estonia is moving towards central Sweden. A high 1025 

western Germany is moving toward the Balkans until Friday while 

weakening. An associated ridge extends to southern Norway, swings

eastwards and weakens. A deep low 959 south of Iceland is moving 

slowly northeastward while weakening; a trough will swing 

eastward across the North Sea on Friday.
