An extensive low 985 over Lake Ladoga is slowly moving 

eastwards. A trough over southern Sweden is shifting 

southeastwards. A high 1021 over the Alps is moving tow 

Eastern Europe, weakening. An associated ridge is shifting 

from the North Sea to the Baltic States. A thundery low 

1010 over southwestern France is moving to the western 

part of the Baltic Sea, deepening slightly. An extensive 

low 988 south of the Irminger Sea is moving to Iceland 

while deepening. A broad ridge of the Azores High will 

build towards the Alps on Thursday.
