general synoptic situation:

A high 1015 over Romania is intensifying. A ridge 

extending to the Baltic states is moving southeastwards. A 

low 991 east of Iceland is slowly moving northwards while 

weakening. Its frontal system is tracking eastwards from 

the western part of the Baltic Sea. A secondary low 1004 

is developing over the Oslo Fjord, which will slowly 

weaken. A high 1022 will reach the sea area southwest of 

Ireland by midday on Saturday and move towards England 

while intensifying somewhat.
