A ridge between a high 1023 over southern Russia and a 

high 1013 over the Norwegian Sea is moving northeastward. 

Ex-tropical cyclone Erin 984 north of Ireland, is slowly 

moving toward northern Scotland while weakening. A low 

1003 over Poland is moving northward into the northern 

Baltic Sea, deepening. A trough over the English Channel 

is moving into the North Sea.
