A low 999 west of the Lofoten Islands moves to the Gulf of 

Bothnia while weakening. A trough extending to the southern 

Baltic Sea slowly weakens. A high 1031 Germany shifts its center 

to the German Bight. A corresponding ridge swings from the 

southwestern Norwegian Sea to Lapland.
