A high 1038 Finland moves to northwestern Russia. A ridge 

extending to the Balkans hardly changes. A severe gale (953) 

northwest of Ireland moves to the Irminger Sea while weakening. 

The associated cold front is located over the western part of the

North Sea and slowly moves to the Skagerrak. A high 1025 over the

Azores moves to the Bay of Biscay while strengthening.
