general synoptic situation:

A high of 1030 over the Alps is moving towards the Balkans. A 

deep depression of 960 northeast of Iceland is moving northwards.

Troughs are swinging over the northern part of the Baltic Sea. 

Another deep depression of 964 is located south of the Irminger 

Sea, which is moving into the sea area south of Iceland while 

weakening. A trough is swinging towards the Bay of Biscay.
