A low 1000 near Gotland moves towards the Gulf of 

Finland, weakening. An extensive low 988 west of Scotland 

slowly moves northwards, weakening. A trough directed 

towards northern France swings towards Norway and weakens. 

A low 1001 over the central North Atlantic moves 

eastwards, deepens and lies west of Scotland on Saturday 

evening.
