until monday evening in no forecast areas strong winds, gale or 

storm are expected. 

 

general synoptic situation:

A low-pressure trough extends from the St Petersburg area 

1008 across the German Bight 1004 to western France 997 

and moves eastwards in the southern part. The low over 

western France moves north-eastwards and fills up, the low 

over the German Bight remains stationary and fills up. A 

low 1008 over the northern North Sea moves towards the 

Faroe Islands, weakening. The ridge of a high pressure 

system 1030 over the Greenland Sea, directed towards 

England, weakens. Another ridge pointing towards Lapland 

strengthens to form an independent high over northern 

Scandinavia.
