general synoptic situation:	

A low 1001 Lapland is filling up while a secondary low 1003 south

of Lake Ladoga deepens as it moves toward northwestern Russia. 

Another low 994 southern part of the Norwegian Sea moves toward 

Haltenbank while filling up. A ridge Great Britain of the Azores 

High 1024 shifts eastward across the North Sea while temporarily 

forming a ridge of high pressure with a high 1016 Greenland Sea. 

A low 990 southwest of Iceland moves eastward while temporarily 

deepening. Its frontal system will swing across the British Isles

toward the North Sea.
