general synoptic situation:	

A high of 1034 over central Finland and Karelia is weakening and 

moving slightly westward. A ridge extending to southern Norway is

stationary. Another ridge extending to Ukraine is strengthening 

slightly on Tuesday. A complex deep depression of 971 west of 

Ireland is almost stationary and weakens on Tuesday. A trough 

extending to the Iberian Peninsula swings northeastwards to the 

English Channel and Western Germany.

icing.

Elbe estuary:
