general synoptic situation:	

A ridge of the Azores High 1026 is extending from Poland into 

Southeastern Europe. A new high 1027 will build over northern 

Spain, which will move towards the Alpine region. A low 984 over 

the Faroe Islands is moving slightly northeastwards while 

deepening. During the night to Saturday, a secondary low 995 will

form over the Skagerrak and then move on towards the northern 

Baltic Sea. On Saturday morning, a new low 998 will be located 

west of Ireland and move towards Scotland, while deepening.
