general synoptic situation:	

A 1019 over the Moscow area is moving eastwards. A low 1002 over 

Scotland is moving towards southern Norway while deepening 

somewhat. A broad trough extending to Poland is shifting 

northeastwards. A high 1029 far to the south of the Irminger Sea 

is moving towards the northern part of the Bay of Biscay while 

weakening somewhat. A ridge will build across France towards the 

Alpine region.
