general synoptic situation:	

A high 1032 over southern Russia hardly changes. An extensive 

deep low 968 at about 54 North 24 West moves to the sea area 

northwest of Ireland while weakening. A secondary low of 996 at 

Doggerbank moves northwards while filling up. A trough extending 

to the southwestern North Sea moves northeastwards.
