general synoptic situation:	

A low 999 Aland Isles travels across the Northern Baltic Sea to 

east and fills later. An associated trough extending to the Belts

and Sound moves across the southern portions of the Baltic Sea to

east in the meantime. Afterwards a high 1021 northern France 

moves to southern Poland. A ridge pointing to Viking shifts to 

the Stockholm area. At Thursday evening, a front of a low 978 

Iceland arrives at the North Sea and travels eastbound.
