general synoptic situation:	

An extensive high 1046 east oft he Caspian Sea moves eastward. A 

ridge towards southeast Europe weakens. A low 965 at about 59 

north 16 west moves northeast of Iceland while deepening. Its 

frontal system will reach the western North Sea on Wednesday 

morning and the western Baltic Sea by Wednesday evening. At the 

same time, a ridge of the Azores high 1034 expands towards the 

Pyrenees.
