A high 1000 southern Norway to Karelia intensifies slightly. A 

low 979 eastern Germany weakens as it moves via the Baltic States

to western Russia. A secondary low 984 Netherlands moves 

southeastwards and fills up. Another low 982 Ireland moves via 

France to the Western Mediterranean and weakens temporarily.
