general synoptic situation:	

A high-pressure zone 1020 Baltic States to Southeast-Germany is 

slowly shifting east. A deep depression 975 Irminger-Sea fills 

while heading towards westcoast of Ireland. A secondary low 984 

Faeroes is merging with another low 986 Central Norwegian Sea 

into a major storm 968 west of the Lofoten. Another secondary low

988 will develop across Scotland this Sunday evening. During 

Monday, it weakens slightly while moving southeast to the German 

Bight.
