general synoptic situation:	

A low 989 east of the Gulf of Finland moves to the White Sea 

while weakening. Another low 998 over central Sweden hardly 

changes. A low 997 northwest of Scotland moves to the 

southwestern North Sea while filling up. A secondary low 999 over

the eastern part of the North Sea moves across southern Sweden 

and will reach the Gulf of Finland on Thursday evening as a low 

on its own.
