general synoptic situation:	

A low 992 Lake Ladoga moves to the Kola Peninsula while 

weakening. The shallow ridge of a high 1016 Romania shifts from 

southern Finland to northwestern Russia. A low 997 Skagerrak 

moves across southern Sweden to the Gulf of Finland where it will

fill up by Friday morning. Another low 1000 Irish Sea moves to 

the southwestern North Sea and will fill up by Thursday evening. 

A secondary low 1000 northern North Sea moves to southern Sweden 

while filling up as well.
