general synoptic situation:	

A low 1008 over eastern Belarus is moving towards the Baltic 

States. A high 1028 over Belgium is moving towards the Alpine 

region while weakening. An associated ridge towards Scandinavia 

moves to the White Sea, where it forms an independent high 1031. 

On Wednesday morning, a low 1019 forms over Forties and moves to 

Belts and Sound while deepening. At the same time, a high 1026 

moves eastwards to the British Isles. An extensive deep low 960 

reaches the position North 59 and West 24 by Wednesday evening.
