A low-pressure system 1008 over Belarus is deepening. A 

high-pressure system 1028 over southern Germany is weakening. A 

low-pressure system 1021 over Scotland is moving towards Denmark 

whilst deepening. A trough is extending to Hungary. A 

high-pressure system 1032 south-west of Ireland is moving towards

the English Channel whilst weakening. A ridge extends to the 

south of Iceland and is turning towards the Norwegian Sea. A 

large, severe storm system 958 will reach the area south-west of 

Iceland on Thursday.
