general synoptic situation:	

A high 1031 over northern Spain moves to Austria while weakening.

By Tuesday evening, a ridge will extend to Sweden. A low 996 

White Sea moves hardly, weakening. An extensive low 990 north of 

Scotland moves to the Norwegian Sea and fills up. An associated 

trough extending across the southeastern Baltic Sea towards 

Ukraine weakens over southern Sweden. During Tuesday night, an 

independent low 1004 will form over the Baltic States, which 

moves southeastwards while weakening.
