general synoptic situation:	

An intensifying high 1037 over southern Sweden is moving towards 

the northern part of the North Sea. A ridge extending to 

northwestern Russia is moving towards the Black Sea. An elongated

high 1028 in a north-south direction far west of the British 

Isles will become another ridge of the high over southern 

Scandinavia. A low 1006 west of Brittany is moving southwards 

while weakening. No significant chwanges with a complex low 1004 

over the western Mediterranean.
