general synoptic situation:	

A low 1007 is located west of the Lofoten Islands, deepens and 

moves to the Kola Peninsula. The cold front moves from the North 

Sea to the Baltic states. An extensive high 1026 is located over 

the Czech Republic and weakens slightly. Another high 1027 Celtic

Sea strengthens and moves to the southwestern part of the North 

Sea building the new center of the extensive high.
