Alps is moving across southern Poland to eastern Ukraine, 

weakening. An associated ridge is swinging from southern England 

across Denmark to the Baltic States. A thundery low 1010 over 

southwestern France is moving across the Netherlands to 

northeastern Germany. A low 987 south of the Irminger Sea is 

moving across southern Iceland to the north coast of Iceland 

while deepening.
