general synoptic situation:	

A high 1029 Baltic States with a ridge extending to Karielia, 

another ridge towards southern Poland shifts southeastward while 

intensifying. A deep low 977 at 57 North 32 West moves to Iceland

while deepening and continues northwards until Friday morning, 

weakening. A secondary low 1002 Shetland Islands moves 

northeastward, deepening. Another secondary 1004 low will form on

Thursday evening south of Ireland and moves to England.
