ridge extending towards Ukraine moves slightly eastwards. A low 

1003 west of the English Channel moves via the Irish Sea to the 

northern part of the North Sea. A trough extends towards Austria 

another to the Faroe Islands. On Friday new lows are approaching 

on the northern Atlantic.
