general synoptic situation:	

An extensive high 1028 North Cape to 1027 Baltic States moves to 

east. A low 1002 southwest of the British Isles moves to the Bay 

of Biscay where it will fill up. A secondary low 1008 

Southwestern North Sea moves to Forties while deepening. Its 

frontal system swings northeastwards across the North Sea and 

will arrive at the western part of the Baltic Sea with its cold 

front on Friday evening. Subsequently, a trough from England will

swing to the western part of the North Sea.
