general synoptic situation:	

A high 1032 over Ukraine moves to Romania. A bridge of high 

pressure extends across Italy to the Azores high 1036, which 

weakens slightly. A deep low 980 east of Iceland moves 

northeastward while weakening. A secondary low 1002 over the 

northern part of the Gulf of Bothnia moves across the the White 

Sea to the east, weakening. Another secondary low 1005 southwest 

of Cornwall 1005 will move to the German Bight by Saturday 

evening.
