general synoptic situation:	

A high 1019 over central Sweden to Lapland is intensifying. A low

988 over northern Italy is moving into the western Black Sea. An 

associated trough extends to Belarus and is moving southward 

toward eastern Ukraine. A deep low of 967 southwest of Iceland is

moving westward. A new deep low of 970 is moving from the North 

Atlantic toward the sea area west of Ireland on Thursday.
