<br> The Meltemi is causing strong to gale-force 

northerly to north-westerly winds locally in the Aegean 

Sea and neighbouring sea areas. The wind will decrease on 

Wednesday. On Tuesday, the mistral will develop, causing 

northerly to north-westerly winds in the area of the Gulf 

of Lions. On Wednesday, the wind field will expand 

southeastwards. Bora winds are likely in the northern 

Adriatic on Wednesday. Today and in the coming days, 

isolated thunderstorms cannot be ruled out throughout the 

Mediterranean, especially near the coast.
