<br> Westerly to south-westerly winds, sometimes strong 

or near-gale force, are blowing from the Alboran Sea to 

the Balearic Islands. This wind field will temporarily 

extend towards Corsica and the Ligurian Sea. Tomorrow, the 

wind will decrease. Tomorrow afternoon, a near-gale-force 

Mistral will develop. It will ease off again on Saturday 

morning. Today and over the next few days, isolated severe 

thunderstorms with heavy rain, hail and severe gusts may 

occur in the western and central Mediterranean. Please pay 

attention to local warnings.
