general synoptic situation



valid until Monday:

<br> A high Balkan Peninsula is slightly shifting east, 

while a low Taurus remains almost unchanged. Consequently 

for a while on Monday, N'ly 7 Bft will occur here and 

there between southern Aegean Sea und Northwest-Egypt. 

Until Sunday afternoon, a filling low west of Gibraltar 

brings E'ly 7 Bft across Alboran and partly 8-9 Bft in the 

Strait of Gibraltar. From Monday, low-pressure influence 

will establish across Western Mediterranean. Along its 

frontal eastern limb between Gulf of Lion and Ligurian 

Sea, increasingly E'ly about 7 Bft will come up then. 

Meanwhile from Saturday into night to Tuesday, 

thunderstorm activity with gusts up to 9 Bft will slowly 

extend from Gibraltar area towards westcoast of Italy.
