general synoptic situation



From Friday night onwards, increasingly strong westerly 

winds will develop over the Alboran Sea, with occasional 

gale-force gusts. On Wednesday, isolated thunderstorms 

cannot be ruled out along the coastal areas of the 

Adriatic and the Aegean Sea. On Thursday and Friday, 

especially during the afternoon severe thunderstorms with 

heavy rain, hail and gusts possible over the central and 

eastern Mediterranean.
