<br> Today and in the coming days, gale-force winds may 

occur intermittently throughout the Mediterranean region. 

A wind focus with storm and strong gusts is located in the 

northern Aegean Sea. There, the wind will weaken over the 

course of the day. Storm and heavy gusts are also expected 

at times in the Alboran Sea. During the night to 

Wednesday, Mistral will develop temporarily, causing storm 

and heavy gusts from the Gulf of Lions to the Tyrrhenian 

Sea. In these main wind fields, wave heights will reach 4 

to 5 m temporarily. Isolated severe thunderstorms cannot 

be ruled out throughout the Mediterranean region. Please 

pay attention to local warnings.
